I have finally decided to take the plunge and buy some coupons (I mean buy the clipping service that is offered, NOT actually buying the coupons) to try to stock up my pantry. I've been into the coupon clipping/sale shopping combo for quite a while now, but I've never tried ordering coupons from a clipping service.
There is a really great sale on pasta and sauce this week at Kroger and also coordinating coupons out there on those products. If I do my math right, I should end up purchasing 40 boxes of pasta for $2. That is a pretty good deal, I do believe! Since my family loves pasta, I buy it often and it is a product that I know I will use.
I also ordered some cereal coupons and I have a plan to get 20 boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats cereal for about $2 as well. SUPER GREAT DEAL because cereal is too expensive and I never purchase it without a coupon and good sale price.
I just hope that I get my coupons quickly and I can get to the store before the sale ends! I only bought a few coupons just to test the system on this and see if it is something that will work for me. I am really hoping it will because we have to reduce our food budget and with a big family, that is challenging.
