"I Want Birthday"

The boys were eager to help me blow out the candle on my brownies. Or, maybe they were just eager to help me eat them.

We went to visit for Thanksgiving in Edgerton and had a lot of fun. The kids played together and there was plenty of food for us all.

Daddy took us out to breakfast at the Holiday Inn French Quarter to celebrate my birthday. The boys enjoyed the fish pond and threw in a few coins. I am surprised Joah did not end up going for a swim. It was decorated for Christmas and looked quite festive. The food was very good and there was a live band playing. I think the boys enjoyed the chocolate fountain the most.

Cooker Mom Strikes Again

Here I am using my new Polish Pottery bowl that I got from Rita, my mother-in-law, for my birthday. I am making brownies for my birthday treat.

What Big Teeth You Have

Caleb's candy teeth from Halloween.

Sam's Little Lost Tooth

Here we go again! Sam lost his second tooth last night while brushing his teeth. He has accumulated $5 to spend from the Tooth Fairy. He is thinking about renting a movie from Blockbuster. I suggested he save it and put it in his bank. He did not think that sounded very fun. He also mentioned he wants to go to Toys R Us. I had to give him the bad news that there isn't much you can buy at that store for less than $5. Maybe the dollar store is a better bet. Especially if you like cheap toys from China with lead paint.

Caleb's New Bed

We got Caleb a new bed since he and Sam were growing out of theirs. Plus, Sam is a notorious blanket stealer and poor Lub was left out in the cold night after night. When I wake Sam up for school he is wrapped up like a bug in a cocoon in the blankets. This left Caleb huddled in a fetal position trying to stay warm. Now he is giddy over having his own bed, which he pointed out is taller than Sam's bed. It is a tall bed and he actually has a little trouble climbing into it. Caleb said he slept great in his new bed last night.

Sam's Tooth Fairy Treasure

Much to Sam's delight, the tooth fairy made an appearance last night with goodies for him. Sam got a shiny new whistle that is VERY loud, I might add. He also earned two crisp dollar bills for his first tooth.

Here Comes The Tooth Fairy

Sam lost his first baby tooth today. He is so proud of his little tooth. He said it did not hurt at all. He was wiggling it and it finally popped out. He said he is hoping the tooth fairy brings him a whistle.
