Cedar Creek Church Light Display

We went over to Cedar Creek Church to see their light display. The boys thought it was really cool. We sat in the van and listened to Christmas music from the Trans Siberian Orchestra, which was choreographed to the lights. Afterward we went to McDonald's for supper. Now, THAT was awesome. Or so the boys said.

Caleb's Christmas Party

I thought this little boy was so cute. He sure liked his cupcake.

Singing "Happy Birthday, Jesus"
Joah, Daniel and I went to St. Jerome Preschool for Caleb's classroom party. The kids made a bead craft, played Christmas bingo, sang happy birthday to Jesus and ate cupcakes and cookies. Joah liked playing with the water fountain...a lot. His sweater ended up all wet. Caleb had fun and wished everyone a Merry Christmas!

Caleb's Advent Chain

Caleb's homework was to make an Advent chain. He cut the strips of paper all by himself and looped them into the links. I taped them together for him. He made a link for each day until Christmas. Everyday he cuts a link off the chain and then counts the links remaining. Joah "helped" too.

I'm a Sicko

Not a fun birthday for me this year. I spent much of the day in bed feeling miserable. I had plans to get a manicure, haircut and go see a movie...all of which I had to cancel. What a bummer. Here I am managing to smile with the kids while fighting a 101 degree temperature. Lee made me some brownies and they boys were eager to taste them. Joah fell asleep on the couch, so he was not in the picture. I hope I feel better tomorrow to have some turkey for Thanksgiving.

My little Buzz Lightyear enjoyed the kid Halloween party at our Mothers' Center meeting. There were crafts, singing, fun and games for all. We especially liked the snacks and treats. The next party was at Caleb's school. Joah and Daniel went along with me to the party. The kids in Caleb's class trick or treated through the "big" school, did a pumpkin craft & frosted cookies. The next day we were off to Sam's school for his Halloween party and parade. Then we went trick or treating at our house and the kids got tons of candy. Finally we had a little party at our house with some of our neighbors stopping by to celebrate. Loads of candy and fun!
