Play Time

Kisses & Chaos

Shenanigans

The boys came home today after spending two days with Grandma & Grandpa. They were wrestling around and having a lot of fun. The house is already a wreck, but I have to say I missed the controlled chaos without them here. It is never a dull moment.

After church we had an Easter egg hunt for the boys at our house. Later we went to Uncle John and Aunt Cheryl's house for Easter lunch. The food was egg-cellent. Everyone had a nice time. The kids got to have an Easter egg hunt in the basement. There was plenty of candy for Caleb to eat all day long, so he was happy.

Coloring Eggs Video

Easter Egg Coloring

The boys enjoyed coloring eggs today. Only one egg cracked...and it was because I dropped it! The whole time Caleb kept asking if they were dry so he could eat one. He really loves hard boiled eggs, but he won't eat pizza. Go figure.

Crazy

I found this video clip saved on our computer today. Just a glimpse at the daily craziness in our house. This was taken last summer, I think in July. You can really tell how much the boys have grown since then.

As We Look Back

As we look back over time
We find ourselves wondering ...
Did we remember to thank you enough
For all you have done for us?

For all the times you were by our sides
To help and support us ...
To celebrate our successes
To understand our problems
And accept our defeats?

Or for teaching us by your example,
The value of hard work, good judgement,
Courage and integrity?

We wonder if we ever thanked you
For the sacrifices you made.
To let us have the very best?

And for the simple things
Like laughter, smiles and times we shared?

If we have forgotten to show our
Gratitude enough for all the things you did,
We're thanking you now.

And we are hoping you knew all along,
How much you meant to us.
