What A Grin

Sam lost both his front teeth. The left one is starting to come in already. The tooth fairy left him a silver dollar for the one tooth and a gold dollar for the other.

I thought Daniel's hair was so cute, I had to take a photo. Lee said I made it look that way on purpose, but I really didn't. It just stuck up like that on its own. He has so much hair compared to the other boys as babies. Too cute.

Daniel's Baptism Day

Daniel was baptized on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at St. Jerome Church in Walbridge. Father Parker baptized Daniel and Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lisa are his Godparents. We had really nice weather and it was a beautiful day. After the church ceremony, everyone came over for supper at our house. Daniel wore the same outfit that each of his three older brothers wore for their baptisms. Grandma made the outfit for Sam when he was a baby. It certainly has come in handy! Even cousin Alan wore it at his baptism.

Mother's Day 2008

Daddy made some yummy pancakes and bacon for breakfast this morning. Sam made me a lovely Mother's Day card with a drawing of our family outside on a sunny day. Caleb's card was a Star Wars theme Mother's Day card...complete with Star Fighters and clones. Daniel actually sat in his seat and was happy and content for most of breakfast. The boys got me a few bottles of hand soap from Bath & Body Works and a gift card to Shamas Spa. I can't wait to go there!
