I had a OB visit today. My ultrasound calculates my due date to be March 27, which is 6 days sooner than the April 2 due date my doctor told me. Looks like all the blood work was fine, so that is good. The doctor confirmed there is only one little baby in there, glad to hear that.
Apparently I have a cyst or fibroid on my uterus that they found in the ultrasound. For the 19 week ultrasound coming up I am supposed to go to an office at St. V's where they handle all high risk patients. She said because of my age (I was so glad to hear that) and the fibroid that warrants a more high tech ultrasound to check things out. She did not seem too concerned, just more on the safe side to be thorough and all.
I am feeling pretty well lately. The fatigue I felt previously has gradually dissipated over the last week or so. I have the energy to get back to the treadmill and actually get get some projects done around here. I am switching clothes for fall and winter, although I was starting to think I was premature with the 92 degree weather we had the other day. I am sorting all our clothes and organizing and weeding out the things we can do without. So much fun, I can't stand it!
Yes, and I dragged out the maternity clothes today and hung them in the closet. Oh, what a joy. I just love clothes that could be used on a camping trip for shelter. I took one look at the maternity underwear and threw them back in the tub. I am not ready for that yet...physically and mentally.
While sorting through the tons of BLUE baby clothes I found a pair of white patent leather dress shoes with little heart cut outs and a big bow on the toe. I forgot I still had them from when I was pregnant with Sam. I was shopping one day and they were marked down to $2 at the then going out of business Montgomery Wards. I did not know at the time I was having a boy, so I bought them. Well, needless to say and three boys later, they have never been worn. The price tag is still on them, too. I had them for sale in my garage sale and they never sold. I am hoping there is a really awesome reason for that!
