Update #2

We had an adventuresome day yesterday to Tahquamenon Falls State Park. We drove over the Mackinac Bridge and through the Hiawatha National Forest up to the state park. There were a whole lot of trees. Lots and lots and lots of trees. There was some road construction so we were a little delayed getting there.

Once we arrived we went to the Lower Falls first. We walked around the falls and got to see some nice views. There were a lot of people there doing the same thing. It was quite busy. There was a trail to walk to the Upper Falls, but it was 8 miles round trip and we did not think we could make it.

We got in the car and drove to the Upper Falls; that was much quicker/easier. The falls were simply beautiful. The brochure said that the trees in that area are some of the oldest ones around. We took some nice pictures that I will post when we get home because it would be too slow to upload them here.

Joah is having a meltdown right now so I better go intervene. More later...
